Big Summer Book Sale on the Library Lawn

This is Marin’s favorite book event of the year so bring your friends and family to spot some great summer reading…

Volunteers from Friends of the San Rafael Library will set out 8,000 books on 30 tables for easy viewing and many more will staff the sale as cashiers and helpers of good cheer.

The children’s section will be even larger than usual with everything from board books for babies to teen books.

We’ll have a huge arts section with painting, drawing, single artist books, art history, ceramics, photography, architecture & decorating.

Another large & delicious section will be cook books, plus gardening & landscape design.

Other areas of interest:  history, poetry, spirituality, natural history, health & fitness, psychology, travel, science & math, music & sheet music, mythology, anthropology, classics, oldies, hard cover fiction and nonfiction, coffee table books minus the coffee, reference, trade fiction and nonfiction, CDs, DVDs, sets of vintage books and more.

All of this will be on the Library Lawn under the beautiful oak tree.
