If you ever wanted to learn the basics of conversational Spanish, here is your opportunity.
After months (literally) of development + testing sessions, we are going live. (Just in time for Halloween!)

This is an integrated 4 week course covering the fundamentals of basic verbs, grammar, and tenses in order to speak in present, past, and future contexts. This course builds on the previous week’s content but it is possible to drop-in at any point. A certificate will be awarded to all who complete all 4 modules.

Instructors: Joseph Cillo, instructional technologist and Carol Costa, native speaker, Madrid Spain

Wondered if the Spanish spoken in the class Latin Spanish or Castilian Spanish?
    Thanks!

Thanks for your interest in the new Spanish Club. Here is the response from Joe, one of the the instructors:

The club/class is in “classic Latin Spanish”.
The other instructor. Carol, having lived in Spain, and with family there, can speak to Castilian but we are specifically NOT using the vosotros form in any conjugation/conversation.

Hope to see you at the class!

Is this class appropriate for beginners? I know many spanish words, but very little grammar. Also do you recommend starting with the first class in the next series vs joining now? Thanks!
