Please note that we will be taking a two week break from all Storytimes from 12/26 to 1/4.

Wednesday Evenings, January 24, February 28, March 28, and April 25 @ 6:00 – 6:45 pm

Family Yoga Storytime is an interactive experience led by Leyna Roget Brabant, founder and lead instructor with Calm Mind, Happy Heart. It will blend self-empowering themes with individual and partner yoga poses, music, props, singing, parenting insights, and an inspiring storytime book! Caregivers are invited to participate to whatever degree their body is capable; no prior yoga experience necessary. A limited number of child sized yoga mats provided; personal mats kindly welcomed. For children aged 2-6 with a caregiver. Space is limited, please register at the Children’s Desk or call us at 415-485-3322 to participate. Sponsored by the Friends of the San Rafael Public Library.

We are pleased to announce the return of Miss Kitty to the San Rafael Public Library! Miss Kitty is back for a series of fun family concerts that are just right for kids birth to 8 years old. No registration, no space limitations, all are welcome! Sponsored by the Friends of the San Rafael Public Library.

Baby Time!

Tuesday Mornings @ 10:30-11am
January 23 & 30, February 6, 13, 20 & 27

Baby Time! uses material from Mother Goose on the Loose, a fun-filled, thirty minute interactive session that uses rhymes, songs, puppets, musical instruments, and more to stimulate the learning process of babies and toddlers. Designed for children birth to 18 months. Families must have at least one child aged 18 months or younger to participate.

An action-packed storytime with stories, songs, fingerplays, puppets, flannelboard stories and Mother Goose. Perfect for children from birth to 5 years old, accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Now after every Baby Time and Family Storytime we are offering 30 minutes of Stay and Play for children and their caregivers!   All toys are brought to us with funds from the Friends of the San Rafael Public Library.
