Storytimes at the Downtown Library
In the Meeting Room at 1100 E Street, San Rafael
Please note that Baby Time, Toddler Storytime, and Afternoon Storytime at the Downtown Library will go on a two week hiatus June 4 - June 15 while we do school visits and launch the Summer Reading Program. Storytimes will resume June 19. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Baby Time!
Baby Time! uses material from Mother Goose on the Loose, a fun-filled, thirty minute interactive session that uses rhymes, songs, puppets, musical instruments, and more to stimulate the learning process of babies and toddlers. Perfect for babies birth to 18 months.

Baby Time with Sarah Sonnet
Join us for a delightful selection of books, motion songs, toys, finger plays, lullabies, and rhymes just right for babies birth to 18 months.
Friday Mornings, May 25 and June 1 & 8, 10:30-11am
Toddler Storytime
An action-packed storytime with stories, songs, fingerplays, puppets, flannelboard stories and Mother Goose. Perfect for children from birth to 3 years old.
Wednesday Mornings, May 30, 10:30-11am
Thursday Mornings, May 24 & 31, 10:15-10:45am
*Please note there will be no Toddler Storytime on May 23, or on June 6 -14
Afternoon Storytime
Longer picture books, flannel board stories, fingerplays, & puppets are presented. Parents or caregivers can attend or stay nearby in the Children's Room. For children ages 3 to 6 years old.
Tuesday Afternoons, June 19 & 26, 3:30-4pm
