On October 19 and 20 The Friends of the San Rafael Libraries are hosting a Rare and Special Book Sale at the First Presbyterian Church across the street from the Library.
On Friday, October 19 the Members’ Preview will be from 12:30 to 1:30 (memberships will be available at the door). Then open to everyone from 1:30 until 5:00.
The next day, Saturday, October 20 we’ll be open from 9:00 until 3:30, with special reductions in prices the last hour of the sale.
Books of all genres will be offered:
- Charming, well-loved children’s books.
- A collection of vintage cook books.
- A huge collection of art books of all stripes, including gallery catalogs and coffee table art books.
- History and medical history.
- Fiction in hardcover.
- Sets of classics.
- Natural history, poetry, sports, travel, vintage sheet music, sweet oldies…
…literally something for everyone!
