Community Information Posting Policy
The San Rafael Public Library provides for the dissemination of community information through distribution of free handouts and public posting of flyers, notices, and posters. These are limited to those of a civic, cultural, educational, or recreational nature. Commercial promotions will not be posted.
Materials for posting and display must be submitted to library staff for approval. Approval does not necessarily indicate the library’s endorsement of the issues or events promoted.
Owing to space limitations, the library may not be able to post or display all items submitted.
Priority will be given to events and issues in:
- San Rafael
- Marin County
- San Francisco Bay Area
