American Graffiti film night fundraiser for the Library
The Friends of the San Rafael Public Library are holding a fundraiser for the Library the evening of Thursday, October 16th at the Rafael Theater. The film will be American Graffiti, directed by local juggernaut George Lucas and filmed in San Rafael, Petaluma, and other Bay Area locations.
Tickets are on sale now at the Friends Books store, located on C Street between 4th and 5th. You can also buy tickets at the Downtown and Pickleweed Libraries.
Movie tickets are $25 apiece, and for $35 you get a ticket to the movie plus access to a special VIP reception before the movie. The reception begins at 6:30, and the film begins at 7:30.
There will be food, wine, and a raffle!
All proceeds of this event will benefit the San Rafael Public Library, both the Downtown and Pickleweed branches.
