Kids & Teen Writing Workshops (4th-8th Grades)
Open to 4th-8th graders. To participate via Zoom, register in advance. You’ll be sent a link for the event and a password. Register once for access to all three workshops.
What’s your story? Tell us, tell the world, in your own voice, as only you can. Don’t know how to get started? We have a workshop series for you to explore creative self-expression through poetry, flash fiction, and non-fiction.
Your teachers are California Poets in the Schools teacher, librarian, and published travel writer Lea Aschkenas, and published poet/editor and librarian Margaret Stawowy.
¿Cuál es tu historia? Dile al mundo lo que solo tú puedes contar. ¿No sabes cómo empezar? Tenemos una serie de talleres para que explores sobre la auto-expresión creativa a través de la poesía, la ficción flash y la no ficción (donde nos contarás tu historia de COVID-19). Hay dos niveles de edad: grados 4-8 y 9-12. El registro te inscribe en los tres talleres.
