Loyalty Through Betrayal: Us Versus Them in a Russian Context
The sense of belonging to a collective plays a much larger role in the construction of the individual’s self-conception for the average Russian than it does for the average American. Responsibility for achievement or failure is shared, and there is a greater belief in the power of fate. How has this collective spirit functioned in Russian society, in literature, culture, politics, and religion? And how does it affect Russian attitudes today?

We’re now providing 2 classes on the same day – always the 3rd Wednesday, at 2 pm and at 6 pm.
Zentangle is a fun, relaxing and easy-to-learn art form that uses repetitive patterns to create beautiful images while improving focus and creativity. This new art form can be enjoyed by anyone, from beginners to professionals, providing artistic satisfaction and personal well being.
Romi Marks is a Certified Zentangle Teacher, educated by the creators of Zentangle, Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. Romi has been practicing Zentangle for 3 years and has been teaching for the last two. Romi has an art studio degree from Sonoma State and has been practicing the visual arts since childhood.
