Animated Animal Tales

Posted by Aaron on

For youth entering grades K-6th

Master Storyteller, Ane Carla Rovetta, is also an illustrator! Come hear her tell a magical folktale about a local animal. Next, watch her bring that animal “to life” as she teaches the audience how to draw it using a few swift strokes with the colorful chalks she provides for you.  Each participant will take home their bright artwork and even brighter memories.

Process Art Saturdays

Posted by Aaron on

Happening at all 3 locations:

Downtown (1100 E St)
Pickleweed (50 Canal St)
Northgate (5800 Northgate Dr)

Process Art emphasizes the process of making art. It is about the experience we have while creating, rather than the outcome; there is no right or wrong way to explore. Each session new materials and techniques will be offered, with a tie-in to a famous artist whose work influences our exploration.

This series of programs is for all ages, from very small children to older adults! Wear clothes that are okay to get messy.
