A Bibliophile’s Dream Sale!
This sale is a favorite of bibliophiles and collectors, artists, designers, and those who create collage or book arts projects using ephemera.
There will be a preview for members of Friends of the San Rafael Libraries from 12:00 to 1:00 on Friday, January 31. You may renew your membership or join online or at the door on the day of the sale.
The sale will be open to the public on Friday, from 1:00-4:30pm, following the member preview
Hours on Saturday, February 1, will be from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Books date from the 1800’s to 1960. Material offered will cover all genres:
vintage children’s books
vintage cooking
poetry
fiction
Classics
Western history
fine art
natural history
classical music sets
classic films on DVD
unique paper Ephemera
…and so much more
All items have been donated and researched.
More than 400 individuals and families help support the San Rafael Libraries each year through their membership in Friends of the San Rafael Public Libraries. The Friends participate in fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering all of which plays an important part in supporting library programs such as Summer Reading, Art Talks, and others throughout the year.
Volunteers organize and staff book sales, research rare books, sort book donations, and work at the Friends Books store at 1016 C Street. Become a volunteer
