A Bibliophile’s Dream Sale!
Don’t miss this beloved sale featuring rare and special books published between 1790 and 1950—perfect for collectors, artists, designers, and book lovers of all kinds. Offerings include history, western history, large-format art books, poetry (including local beat poets), spirituality, vintage cookbooks, ephemera, sheet music, classic CDs, and more.
There will be a preview for members of Friends of the San Rafael Libraries from 12:00 to 1:00 on Friday, September 26. You may renew your membership or join online or at the door on the day of the sale.
The sale will be open to the public on Friday, September 26 from 1:00-4:30pm, following the member preview
Hours on Saturday, September 27 will be from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
All items have been donated and researched.
More than 400 individuals and families help support the San Rafael Libraries each year through their membership in Friends of the San Rafael Public Libraries. The Friends participate in fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering all of which plays an important part in supporting library programs such as Summer Reading, Art Talks, and others throughout the year.
