Join us for our second of two book discussions of The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett. Please register in advance. After registering you will receive a link and instructions for how to participate on the day and time of the book club.
This book has been chosen as San Rafael Library’s “Book to Action,” a community-wide program from the California Center for the Book to Read/Discuss/Act during the months of March-June. We will be hosting two book discussions and a number of online programs around the issues this book brings up: race identity, transgender identity, colorism, passing, among others.
