Canceled – Write Tight to Grab Readers with Chris Johnson

All San Rafael Public Library programs are canceled through the end of March. Library patrons are advised to follow the recommendations issued by the Department of Public Health regarding social gatherings.

Write concisely using 20 tips so you can keep your readers’ interest.

Mark Twain once said “I’m sorry I didn’t have time to make this shorter.” Library patrons will learn the advantage of making their point in fewer words.

Attendees receive a one-page list of 20 tips for writing concisely and then they will practice using the tips.

Chris Johnson has taught university-level writing classes from 1996 to 2018 (at Dominican University for 9 years) and has been writing and editing professionally for 30+ years. She specializes in non-fiction, book writing and publishing, and business correspondence. She also tutors people to use MS Word for PCs  and is available by appointment through the San Rafael Public Library.
