A 35 minute talk on pollinators and how native plants can support them by including a review of the various pollinators in the area, information on the tropical milkweed controversy, details on why nonnative plants can not support our local fauna, some information on what is happening to bird and insect populations, and how to get started using native plants along with some gardening tips.
Margaret Flaherty a member of CNPS and a certified California Naturalist will speak on Bay Area Pollinators and how our gardens can help support them by using native plants.
