Meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month in the Library Meeting Room.
We’ll be discussing a different area of genealogy research each month. Our speaker, Jeffery Vaillant, President of the Sonoma County Genealogy Society and genealogy junkie loves a challenge, so come with your questions!

March 14 – Federal and State Census, draft registrations and city directories

April 11 – Genealogical and historical societies, state and local libraries and writing effective queries

May 9 – County histories and reverse genealogy

June 13 – Genealogical research checklist

July 11 – Probate and military records, National Archives

August 8 – Land and tax records

Notice that the focus is on United States records, however, each topic has its international element.

No Class September 12th.

More classes to come: 10/10, 11/14, 12/12
