CANCELED: Drop-In 3D Printing and VR

3D Printing:

Drop-in to meet with a knowledgeable staff person and learn about 3D printing! If you have a project in mind, we can work with you to have it printed, or help you choose a file from a database of objects. Please note that there is a queue and wait-time for prints. Please read our 3D Print Guidelines and FAQs prior to dropping-in.

Virtual Reality:

Drop-in to try our VR headsets, available in English and Spanish. Patrons must be aged 13+ to use the VR equipment. Thank you to our partners from XR Libraries. Please read our VR Guidelines and FAQs prior to dropping-in.

If you have ever wanted to learn more about the exciting world of genealogy, here is your opportunity! Covering a rotating set of topics each session, our genealogy experts can lend help to anyone ranging from just getting started to seasoned genealogists. In a collaboration between the Marin Genealogical Society and the San Rafael Public Library, join us for our ongoing genealogy program.

Tea Tasting with Silk Road Teas

Tea Tasting with Silk Road Teas

Silk Road Teas will introduce, discuss and taste rare, artisanal teas from China. These select teas are grown on small traditional farms, made each harvest season in very limited quantities & crafted to local customs in processing and taste profile. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how high-grade artisanal teas are grown, skillfully crafted and processed creating some of the world’s finest tasting teas.

This event will be held at City Hall in the third floor conference room; seating is limited to about 20 chairs. The third floor is accessible by elevator.
